Data We Collect

When you install FMSGods Pop, we access the following data from your Shopify store:

• Recent orders — order ID, product name, buyer's first name, city, and purchase timestamp — used solely to power the popup notifications shown on your storefront.
• Store information — your Shopify store domain and plan status — used to manage your subscription and app settings.
• Popup event data — anonymous counts of how many times the popup was displayed (impressions) and clicked — used to provide analytics inside the app dashboard.

We do not collect payment card information, full customer addresses, passwords, or any other sensitive personal data.

How We Use Your Data

• To display real-time purchase notification popups on your storefront.
• To show you analytics about popup performance (impressions and clicks).
• To manage your free or Pro plan status.
• To register and maintain the script that powers the popup on your store.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in a secure PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway (railway.app). All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS. We retain data only as long as the app is installed on your store. When you uninstall the app, your store's data is removed within 30 days.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the App:

• Shopify — platform provider. Subject to Shopify's Privacy Policy.
• Railway — hosting and database provider. Subject to Railway's Privacy Policy.

Merchant Responsibilities

By using FMSGods Pop, you are responsible for ensuring that your use of customer order data (such as displaying a buyer's first name and city in a popup) complies with your own privacy policy and applicable data protection laws in your jurisdiction (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

Your Rights

You may request deletion of your store's data at any time by contacting us or by uninstalling the app. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify merchants of significant changes via the app interface or email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
